Senior Finance, Accounting & Tax Manager (Jakarta)

Job Descriptions:

  • Direct report to the Country CEO in Indonesia, with functional reporting to Group CFO at Global
    HQ in Singapore.
  • Provides strategic leadership in achieving business goals and ensures compliance with all
    applicable legislation and reporting requirements at Group level.
  • Responsible for the efficient and effective running of day-to-day operations of finance and compliance business units serving the local and regional business needs, including financial reporting, tax reporting, corporate governance, and enterprise risk management.
  • Manages and coordinates the implementation of integration projects, policies, and events, including time management and financial reporting to Global HQ and key stakeholders.
  • Contributes commercial, financial and strategic insight to local and global senior management teams.
  • Liaise with other relevant stakeholders, authorities and relevant parties.
  • Promote staff development through supervision, coaching, and training.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • Seasoned strong leader with a can-do attitude.
  • Experienced and thorough understanding of the professional corporate service-related business in Indonesia, including local management and performance of service delivery teams.
  • Finance and accounting background is mandatory, with in-depth knowledge of all financial related matters; including but not limited to local statutory compliance.
  • Tax Brevet A&B Certification is a must.
  • Experienced with corporate governance best practices.
  • Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Ability to work under pressure, delegate, inspire and coach.
  • Familiar with the matrix reporting structure.

  • Required language(s): English

Job Description:

  • Ensures that all general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledger records are updated and accurate and provides timely reporting of all financial information.
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Prepare and manage monthly and annual tax reporting, 21, 23, 25, 4(2) and VAT
  • Timely and accurate payroll processing, ensuring there are best practice checks and controls in the process to ensure an efficient, accurate payroll process and BPJS process
  • Ensure all payroll queries are handled in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure appropriate authorization of overtime sheets, timesheets, payroll payments and changes to payroll data.
  • Ensure there is confidentiality of payroll and employee information at all times.
  • Keep up to date with payroll legislative changes.
  • Ensure compliance with Payroll tax obligations.
