Diaspora Visa Benefits in Indonesia

The Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights has introduced a new visa called the Diaspora Visa. The visa is specially designed to allow former Indonesian citizens to stay in Indonesia for a prolonged period of five or ten years.

The main aim of the new regulation is to strengthen the sense of belonging among those who hold foreign citizenship. The expatriate authorization simplifies the process of applying for a residence permit for Indonesian migrants, making it a more direct route.
