The New Normal & Stay Permit Services in Indonesia A. Return of Expired ITAS and ITAP Holders to Indonesia Expired ITAS and ITAP holders and re-entry permit holders who are currently abroad and have already had an approval letter from the Ministry/Technical Institution (work permit), as well as foreigners who have applied for the family reunion ITAS or ITAP, are allowed to enter Indonesia and apply for an extension in the Local Immigration within 60 days after the issuance of the regulation. B. Extension of Visit Visa, ITAS and ITAP that are Still Valid The holders of Visit Visa, ITAS, and ITAP holders that are still valid and who are currently staying in Indonesia are allowed to submit extension applications in the Local Immigration. C. Return Status for Emergency Stay Permit Holders 1. Emergency Stay Permit Holders Visit Visa holders that have been granted Emergency Stay Permits are allowed to extend their Visit Visas during this Covid19 situation and if there is no transportation to support them in going back to their home countries, within 30 days after the issuance of the regulation. 2. ITAS Holders ITAS holders that have been granted Emergency Stay Permits are allowed to extend their ITAS based on the previous ITAS, within 30 days after the issuance of the regulation. ITAS holders that have been granted Emergency Stay Permits but are not able to extend their ITAS should leave Indonesia within 30 days after the issuance of the regulation. 3. ITAP Holders ITAP holders that have been granted Emergency Stay Permits are allowed to extend their ITAP based on the previous ITAP, within 30 days after the issuance of the regulation. ITAP holders that have been granted Emergency Stay Permits but are not able to extend their ITAP should leave Indonesia within 30 days after the issuance of the regulation. D. Visa on Arrival (VoA) Holders VoA Holders that have been granted Emergency Visas are allowed to apply for an extension within 30 days after the issuance of the regulation, based on the previous VoA situation. This condition should apply until COVID-19 crisis has ended and if there is no transportation to support the foreigners in going back to their home countries. E. Free Visa Holders Free visa holders that have been granted Emergency Stay Permits should leave Indonesia within 30 days after the issuance of the regulation.
